What can I do with spanned or split MP4 clip segments after a recording interruption?
Short answer
Usually only the last chapter is damaged: chapters the camera had already closed are complete MP4 files, while the one being written when power failed often lacks its moov index. Copy the card first, keep the finished chapters as they are and repair just the final segment on a copy, using a reference clip.
The situation

Only the open chapter is affected. Every segment the camera closed before the interruption is a finished MP4 with its own index, while the one being written at the moment of the cut lacks the closing structure and refuses to play.

Work out what actually disappeared
A camera splits a long take when it reaches the size limit, closes that file properly and immediately starts the next. Power loss therefore damages exactly one file: the current chapter, whose moov index was never appended. Earlier chapters carry the earlier part of the recording and are complete, which is why the take plays up to a point and then ends.
The payload may have been written before duration fields, indexes, directory entries or closing structures were committed. For split MP4 recording, this matters because long recordings may be divided by device rules and require every segment in the right order
Check the last known path, trash and backups without writing to the original device.

Power the camera down and eject the card before checking anything, so no firmware routine touches the open chapter.

Do not join the chapters before the last one is repaired, and do not re-encode the complete segments to make them match. The closed chapters are already correct, and a re-encode costs quality while hiding where the recording actually broke off.
